The NBA has announced that the Samsung Summer League (Las Vegas) will take place from July 10th through July 20th.

Philadelphia will once again compete in two summer leagues this season, with the other being in Utah from July 6th through July 9th. The Sixers will not play in the Orlando Summer League this season.

This will be the second season in a row that the Sixers play in two summer leagues, as they played in Vegas and Orlando last season. Prior to 2014 the Sixers last played in the Las Vegas Summer League in 2008.

The full schedule has yet to be released, but each team is guaranteed to play at least 5 games.

There will be 24 teams competing in the Samsung Summer League in Las Vegas, which includes an NBA D-League Select Team.

  • I wonder if that Utah league will be televised

    • I think the NBA does realize there’s a market for it, and in trying to get a more ‘off season’ interest will televise it on NBA TV even if delayed, but you’ll have to look closely to find the games (and set your DVR’s to start early and end late)
