Welcome back to your daily Sixers draft pick tracker.

Summary:
The Kings found a recent winning streak, the Wolves forgot how to play basketball, and Sacramento has somehow jumped to having just the 8th worst record.

2017 Draft Pick Tracker – Summary

Pick Place GB (from 2nd) Games Left Notes
Lakers 2nd 9 44.2% chance at conveying
Sixers 5th 6.0 9 88 lottery combinations
Kings 8th 7.5 8 28 lottery combinations

Yesterday’s results:

  • New York beat Detroit (great): The Knicks broke their 5 game losing streak, giving them 1 more win than the Sixers and keeping them just 1 away from Sacramento.
  • Sacramento beat Memphis (horrible): Sacramento’s 2 game winning streak is really screwing things up for the Sixers, especially when combined with the Wolves 6 game losing streak and the Knicks general ineptitude (or competence? This time of year is so weird). With 29 wins they now have the 8th worst record, 2 more than Orlando, who currently has the 4th worst record.
  • Toronto beat Orlando (bad): This one was kind of expected, as Orlando was on the road against a tough opponent. Still, the loss moves Orlando back into the 4th worst record, a half game behind the Sixers.

Tonight’s games:

  • Phoenix @ Atlanta (go Hawks): Phoenix is on an 8 game losing streak, keeping them within arms reach (0.5 games) of the Lakers at 2/3.
  • Philadelphia @ Brooklyn: Brooklyn’s playing pretty good ball of late, winning 5 of their last 10. This isn’t a gimme for Brett Brown and his crew.
  • Minnesota @ Indiana (go Wolves): The Wolves 6 game losing streak is really screwing things up, as the Kings (29 wins) passed the Wolves (28) last night. A win here would really help.
  • Washington @ LAL (go Lakers): Washington stumbled a little bit last week, losing 4 of 5 after spending months as one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Still, they looked to have rebounded, winning their last 3, including a victory Saturday against the Cavaliers. This would be a very unlikely win for the Lakers.
